pre-monsoon showers

A monday morning... and that too after mid-night party..., you know how it feels !
I moved out of my bed grumpily and came out in the balcony, a gust of wind containig droplets hit my face and i was like aaaah.. heaven! thought of bunking office was germinating somewhere in my mind.., but to-be-done-asap assignments and release dates pulled me out of reverie( i hate deadlines! damn!)
I am an unusually excellent example of murphy's law, which hits me when i least expect it!!
Anyways with heavy feet i got ready(i din't take bath even!!uhhhhh...). But then you won't believe for the first time in last two years of my plying to noida, i kind of enjoyed ride to the office. It was really very gooooood weather outside. It looked all fresh outside (you anyway feel fresh when you are hopping flyovers, bypassing all the city hustle, bustle & snarl-ups). NH-8 flyover has truly come as saviour to all the people ( like me) plying to delhi & noida. I wish if it were all the same to noida (day-dreaming again!!)
By-the-way we clicked few good snaps(with my princely 1.3 megapixel phone camera ofcourse !!)
i would upload them soon!!( my laptop does'nt have bluetooth i wonder!)
By the time i got down at office i felt rejuvenated, i am sure i am energized enough for monday morning. I am gonna buckle down to my assignments today!!
I wish i get the same treatment every monday :-)

Some respite from heat waves

God seems to have listened to my prayers for reprieve from scorching heat.
It was good for last 2-3 days , Sun seems to have mellowed down.
Well this is not so often that you get to sound sleep in NCR in the month of june. May be it has rained somewhere close-by( that 's what i used to hear from parents, whenever it would get colder than expected!). One good thing about Delhi summer is that you learn to live in extremities. I am sure everyone in delhi can be sent for military services without any additional commando traning(literally!)
I dont know when would this perennial electricity problem would go off. I hope this nuke deal gets through, so we would have some more nuclear plants. (Damn! Now what's stopping PMO from ratifying it!)
So much so is the amount of cuts in ggn that one of my colleague can't tolerate the sound of running fans now! Infact only in the morning he told me, he's thinking of surrending his electricity connection !!

Gosh this hot sultry summer!

I don't know what is wrong this summer ( & my luck this summer). It seems
its somekind of divine retribution for my sins last birth. Thanks to my builder
for charging me exorbitant 10 rupees per unit that i am unable to run my AC.
Today morning i woke with an extraordinary gusto to get ready and reach office
as fast as possible!!(on Monday???) --reason my office( and i believe yours too!)
is Air conditioned. But much to my chagrin, it seems AC too gave way to sultry summer !!
And it was surely not because of tucking into "Banarasi Laal Peda" my junior brought this
morning, i was actually feeling hot coz our AC went kaput.

I get to hear that ambient temperature june this year is 50C above normal.
Infact its so hot in my bathroom that you can actually cook chapatti/chawal on my bucket
water!!(literally)
The whole weekend i kept myself holed up in the house to save my soul !!
God save us, God save all!!

Indian film industry, from time immemorial has produced gems (!!!). See the attached videos below. Govinda with his killer moves along with kimi katkar (is she?).
Consider yourself lucky(luckiest??)to having spot both superman and spiderwoman together.
I love this!! watch out for their jigs in the sky and govinda's dashing black boots.

Well this is the room i had when i visited Goa. The hotel was shalom. I got room through makemytrip at the last moment when infact i was scurrying to get anything at hand, since they had some big doctor's conference around feb and we had no idea about this! Finally I hesitatently paid for this to makemytrip.

But to my delight i found this extremely comfy and cosy. The trip was really memorable, we mostly visited south goa, as it has most of number of beaches. We spent 1 day laizing around the hotel swimming pool.
Well that was nice too !(see below)

I would strongly recomment to seriously consider this hotel an option if you are planning to visit goa any sooner!!

Pirates of Carribean --- pushed to the point of tedium

Yes!! I made a mistake "again" by acceding "again" to my colleagues' demand to
go this new movie by Johnnie Depp.
Last time it was Cheeni kam and this time pirates...
Infact my colleague sitting on adjacent seat was almost snoring!!
Just before we were running into waves(multiplex at noida) my peer
rustled up the story of pirates1 and 2 to us. well it sounded quite intresting then.
First of all we kept waiting for the "The Hero" Jack Sparrow to arrive
he made quite unlike-hollywood entry. Then there was hardly anything i could
relate to.
Kept struggling with my wits so as to gather the storyline but to no use...
In the intermission, everyone was lamenting as to how bad movie is this...
The story picked up little bit in the end... And yes there fight scene in the sea expanse
reminded me of another "bomb" master commander
I get sea-sick when i see these movies. All the time they are just there in the sea
doing nothing...
shit!!
